Synchronized swimming is also known as artistic swimming. It is performed in a swimming pool and combines swimming, gymnastics and dance. It aims to create a choreography that combines simple and elaborate movements chained together following the rhythm of the music. Furthermore, it can be performed solo, in pars or in groups.
Synchronized swimming improves musculature, body coordination and flexibility. It allows you to gain physical endurance, improve circulation and breathing. It is a very low-injury sport because the impact is minimal due to the environment where this sport is performed: the water.
To be able to do this activity it is mandatory to have a good level of swimming.
