IS CEM COLOM A SAFE CENTRE IN TERMS OF MY HEALTH?
Yes, doubly so. Firstly, because at CEM Can Ricart we have implemented all the requisite safety, health and disinfection measures and protocols in order to ensure that any activity you undertake is done so in an environment of maximised safety, while also enjoying the experience of exercising and doing sports with minimum disruption. Secondly, because gyms are the safest places to exercise: unlike working out at home or in the street, at our gyms you have the best equipment and an expert team of trainers and professionals at your disposal.
WHAT NEW CONSIDERATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL FOR ACCESS?
It is essential to bring (in addition to what you usually wear)
✓ Your membership card or wrist band (due to capacity control you will not be able to enter without these)
✓ A face mask to access communal spaces (you won't have to wear it while exercising)
✓ A towel of 120x60cm to cover mats/machines
WHAT ELSE ARE WE RECOMMENDED TO BRING?
An extra towel for drying off.
WILL THE TEMPERATURE OF THOSE ENTERING THE CENTRE BE TAKEN PRIOR TO ACCESS?
No. Temperatures will only be taken of children taking part in the summer campus, in accordance with current legal mandates.
WILL THERE BE DISINFECTANT FLOOR MATS IN PLACE AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE CENTRE?
Yes. There will be one at the entrance to each area of the facility.
WHAT INDIVIDUAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT SHOULD I WHERE FOR WORKING OUT?
To access the center and circulate communal spaces a face mask must be worn. This will be necessary while practicing sports.
WILL YOU PROVIDE FACE MASKS, HAND SANITISER OR GLOVES?
In all areas of the Centre you will find dispensers of hydro-alcoholic gel to ensure the disinfection of hands. Each member must bring their own mask but we have masks for sale in the reception. Gloves are not necessary, but you will need to clean any surface before using it. The cleaning team will also do this regularly.
HAVE CLEANING PROTOCOLS BEEN HEIGHTENED?
Yes, we have revised our cleaning protocols and heightened disinfection. A permanent cleaning team is in place which performs rounds throughout all communal spaces. We have increased the frequency and adapted the products we use to current requirements. Sporting equipment will be disinfected after each class and the cleaning of surfaces where there may be contact with the hands has been redoubled.
CAN I BRING MY OWN EQUIPMENT?
Yes, members that wish to bring their own sports equipment such as mats, floats etc. should consult our sports technicians.
CAN I RENT MATERIALS?
For safety reasons, it will not be possible to rent materials at this time. Members will have to bring their own (towels, padlocks, etc...). It will still be possible to buy regular equipment.
WILL I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK UPON ENTERING THE POOL AREA IN ORDER TO MOVE AROUND OUTSIDE THE POOL?
This will be necessary.
WILL THERE BE TIMETABLE CHANGES?
Opening hours at the Centre will be the same as before. Check the schedule for activities on our website to ensure that you are up to date with the latest changes. You can also check times via QR or on the doors of the suites at the Centre.
CAN I WORK OUT EVERY DAY?
Yes, whenever availability at the Centre permits.
WILL I HAVE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO ACCESS THE ACTIVITIES?
Yes, to access to the activities you will have to book a time through our Lleuresport fitness app. You can get direct access or via our website.
WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO CHANGING ROOMS?
Yes, you will have access to the changing rooms, but in order to avoid crowding, long waits, and late arrival at classes, we suggest arriving earlier, already changed into sportswear if possible. You will also be able to enjoy more freedom of space, as some of them have been disabled, in keeping with social distancing guidelines.
CAN I SHOWER AT THE CENTRE?
Yes, but we would recommend showering at home, since changing room occupancy will be limited for safety reasons.
WILL I BE ABLE TO USE THE CHANGING ROOM LOCKERS?
WILL I BE ABLE TO USE THE SWIMMING POOL?
Yes. The swimming pool, as well as the water purification and disinfection systems implemented there, is a very safe space. In addition, we have reorganised the pool lanes and their capacity to ensure safe distancing.
WILL I BE ABLE TO USE THE SOLARIUM AND HAMMOCKS?
The solarium will be in use. We have adapted the space for safe distancing. Hammocks will not be in use.
WHAT WILL THE CAPACITY BE FOR GROUP ACTIVITIES?
This will depend on the surface area of the space, and according to the protocol for safe distancing. We have adapted the timetable for group activities and spaces (indoor and outdoor) to maximise the services on offer to our users. The instructor for each session will ensure that established capacity quotas and safe distancing are respected.
HOW CAN I BOOK MY PLACE TO ATTEND ACTIVITIES?
Through either the website or our mobile app you will be able to make a reservation up to 5 days prior to the activity to guarantee your place, with a maximum of 3 bookings for any given day, so that everyone has equal opportunities to attend classes.
If it turns out finally that you are unable to attend we would ask that you cancel the reservation in order to allow others the opportunity to attend. You have up to 15 minutes before the class to cancel your reserved place. If you have not arrived in time for the beginning of the class, your place will go to someone else who has been queueing at the door of the class.
All bookings for timetabled activities can be made online.

HOW DO I ACCESS GUIDED ACTIVITIES?
You may not enter the room until the instructor arrives.
Once the instructor has arrived, he or she will make sure that everyone who enters has booked their place online. At the point of entrance you will have to validate your booking with your membership wrist band or via the tablet.
If you have not reserved a place, wait at the door until the class begins. If, once the class has begun, not everyone who has pre-booked a place has arrived or you see that there are free places left, the instructor will allow you to enter on a first-come, first-served basis.
WILL THERE BE ACTIVITIES SPECIFICALLY TAILORED TO THOSE OVER THE AGE OF 60 AND PEOPLE WITH HEALTH RISKS?
Yes, the Centre has planned activities specifically designed for people over 60 and people with health risks.
You can consult the timetable for these activities at the Centre.
These activities have been organised at a determinate time which you can check on our website or through the timetable app.
WILL THE AADD SCHEDULE BE MAINTAINED?
A new timetable of activities adapted to current norms of use and in response to member demand and preferences has been made available to you.
WILL YOU BE RUNNING SUMMER SCHOOLS?
Yes. Though they might be held at CEM Can Ricart. You will all the information you need on this page .
WILL YOU BE RUNNING COURSES IN THE SUMMER?
We will not be able to offer courses this summer due to the redistribution of available spaces in order to maximise capacity while maintaining social distancing safety protocol.
WILL I BE ABLE TO CONTINUE THE COURSE I WAS PREVIOUSLY ENROLLED ON?
Paid courses end in June, for that reason at the time of reopening they are deemed to be completed. The fee paid in advance at the time of registration corresponding to the monthly fee for June 2020 will be dealt with individually by each non-school facility.
WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO RE-ENROLL ON THE COURSE I WAS ALREADY SIGNED UP TO OR SIGN UP FOR ANY NEW COURSE?

Your payments will remain as they were, according to the membership plan you subscribed to.
WILL MEMBERS WHO DID NOT CANCEL DURING THIS TIME BE REWARDED FOR THEIR LOYALTY?
Yes. All members will benefit from the DUO SOCIAL plan which they will be able to take advantage of without charge, until the end of the year (December 31st 2020) at both CEMS, Can Ricart and Colom, under the terms of your current plan and with the same membership card.
WILL I BE COMPENSATED FOR THE CLOSURE DURING THE MONTH OF JULY?

IF I HAVE INVITATIONS OR VOUCHERS THAT I WAS UNABLE TO USE DUE TO THE CLOSURE WILL I BE ABLE TO USE THEM STILL? WHEN?
Yes, vouchers will now be valid until December 31st 2020. Access via invitation will be granted from the month of September 2020, depending on the capacity of the Centre.
