CARDIO FOR WARRIORS. This is how we can define boxing, one of the most fun and effective ways to lose weight that has become fashionable in recent years.

Burning calories has ceased to be hard and heavy work to become an exciting personal challenge through different and stimulating activities that get you hooked to return to the gym for another day.

At CEM Can Ricart and CEM Colom you have the Veevo method, Fit Combat, Colom Combat and Functional Combat on the list of directed activities, classes based on boxing. As such we believe in the importance of technique as one of the best ways to get the most out of classes.

In Boxing technique there are four basic blows: jab and cross whose target is the opponent’s nose. Hook that targets the cheek and uppercut that targets the chin. These strikes are combined with three types of guards: right, left, and front.

In Muay Thai, frequent knee blows are combined with elbow blows: the upward elbow whose hitting target is the nose, the downward elbow that focuses on the eyebrows, and the horizontal one that always fixes the blow on the eyebrow.

To show you this and much more, we are waiting for you next May 10 at 5:00 p.m. in the Veevo room in Can Ricart.
