Hypopressive abdominal techniques are a very effective way to flatten and tone the abdominal area and achieve a completely flat stomach.
Hypopressive Abdominal Gymnastics (HAG) is a technique for toning abdominal musculature, pelvic floor and spinal stabilisers, with results that would be much harder to achieve through other training methods, such as traditional abdominal exercises.
But the aesthetic benefits are not the only thing that hypopressive abdominals offer, they also help to correct postural imbalance in the back, alleviate urinary incontinence, prevent abdominal hernias, facilitate fast postnatal recovery and even cure problems related to sexual dysfunction, among other benefits.
Breathing during hypopressive exercises is the core element of this type of training, in order to activate the muscles and stabilise the entire lumbar and abdominal region of the body.
