In Boxing technique there are four basic blows: jab and cross whose target is the opponent’s nose. Hook that targets the cheek and uppercut that targets the chin. These strikes are combined with three types of guards: right, left, and front.
In Muay Thai, frequent knee blows are combined with elbow blows: the upward elbow whose hitting target is the nose, the downward elbow that focuses on the eyebrows, and the horizontal one that always fixes the blow on the eyebrow.
